Description

Our collection from the Singalila Ridge near Darjeeling Northern India in 2002 at 3150m. Where it grew in part shade in boulder strewn steep shrubberies. Forming a robust sticky-haired upright perennial, with cordate rough textured and serrated leaves on long petioles. Born on 1m tall stems with terminal branched spikes of purple inflated flowers, June-August. Easily grown in full sun to part shade in a well drained soil.
